Our support department is notified of SSL Certificate sales, and will install for you.
What's the difference?
All certificates offered are 128-bit or 256-bit capable SSL certificates. The price difference is in the validation process.
- GeoTrust QuickSSL certificates verify ownership of the domain name on the order via email. The optional site seal is a static (non-popup) image and does not display any company information.
- GeoTrust QuickSSL Premium and Thawte SSL-123 Certificates verify ownership of the domain name on the order via email. The optional site seal displays the date and domain name.
- GeoTrust TrueBusinessIDs, Thawte Web Certificates, and all Verisign certificates do a full company verification. The company name, city, state is displayed on the optional SSL site seal.
- Extended Validation ("EV") Certificates require an extensive company verification. The optional site seal displays company name, city, and state. A few select web browsers will display the green Address Bar. EV certificates may take several weeks to be issued.
