Store Spotlight: Blue & Cream

Shopping for just the right outfit, shoes, and accessories isn’t always as easy as heading down to the mall. Often, geographical restrictions get in the way.  Shopping for clothes, accessories, shoes, and just about everything else online via ecommerce stores has become a popular and common pastime for this very reason.

Thanks to Miva Merchant, fashion-forward customers wishing to purchase clothing and other items from this week’s Store Spotlight, Blue & Cream don’t have to travel to one of their three physical store locations in order to do so.

Founded in 2004, Blue & Cream has provided unique, high-fashion clothing and accessories for men and women. Developed by entertainment marketer Jeffrey Goldstein, the store exemplifies the jet-set, high fashion lifestyle, and has garnered massive media attention for its unique products, shopping experience, and celebrity clientele. The B&C Company has also expanded into the creation of private-label clothing, footwear, and more.

Since launching the Blue & Cream website in 2009, B&C has relied on Miva Merchant as its shopping cart platform.

“Blue & Cream is a small boutique; therefore, it is very important to the company to be able to customize our online shopping cart system based on our specific needs. Miva Merchant’s modules and add-on’s help us to shape and personalize our site, “says B&C PR and Marketing Associate, Chelsea Laverack. 

While shopping online, customers can choose from several different categories, including Designers, Sales, New Arrivals, Women’s Clothing, Men’s Clothing, Accessories, and several different style Look Books.

“The Blue & Cream web team believes the greatest advantage of Miva Merchant is how user-friendly the program is,” adds Chelsea. “It is helpful for a small boutique to have an online shopping system that can be hands on for employees of all different levels.”
