MivaCon 2013 Nominees for Best New Website of 2012
Every year, we see innovative uses of Miva Merchant software, and we are looking to highlight these new ideas. For the category of Best New Website of 2012, we are looking to identify stores that are new to Miva Merchant and will make all of the veteran storeowners jealous. To qualify as a “new website” in 2012, the store must have launched on Miva Merchant, or been migrated from another platform, during the calendar year. We want to share and showcase these Miva Merchant store owners who have achieved excellence in E-commerce. The winner will be announced at The Blades awards banquet during our annual conference on Thursday, March 7th, 2013. The categories for nominations include Best Use of Social Media, Best New Feature, Best Design, Most Unique Marketing Promotion, and Best New Website of 2012. Join us at MivaCon 2013!

The concept for the fun, retro look and functionality of ChicShave was created by Dylan and brought to life by a combination of efforts by Miva Merchant’s Professional Services Department and Kent Multer of Magic Metal Productions. ChicShave has successfully taken an everyday item, made it stylish, and designed a website that encompasses that theme from storefront through checkout.

The professional appearance and ability to guide customers through the entire website reflects the Hertz Supplies brand in a cutting-edge way.

Pomades is the third in a series of stores by Kugo Inc. with a focus on quality grooming for men. The nostalgic look and feel of Pomades.com perfectly complements the first two sites in the series, RoyalShave.com and TheStache.com. Pomades.com was designed and developed by Kugo’s in-house developer, and the site is also maintained in-house with assistance from Miva Merchant’s Professional Services.
