Free Checkout Icons For Checkout Steps

Adding some design to your checkout process is a great way to enhance the user experience of your ecommerce website as well as add some color to a typically bland page.  I have created two sets of design elements that you can customize and add to your ecommerce website.  Throw some color on there to match your current website appearance.

Both of these sets come in PSD (Photoshop Document) form so open the files into Photoshop to edit them.  I have set them up so that you can easily customize their appearance by just turning on and off Layer Effects.  Each layer, with a Layer Effects applied to them, has a little “down arrow” next to them with an “fx” icon.  Click on that arrow and view all the Layer Effects that I have applied.  The icon that looks like an eye indicates what is turned on and ones with out that icon indicate that an effect is turned off.  Double click each effect to customize them.  Make sure to output four (4) image files (jpeg, gif, png, etc.) of each of the checkout stages in order to use them on your ecommerce website.  Have fun!

A lot of ecommerce website owners tend to start out small and just keep adding more and more to the appearance of their website as their business grows.  This is a great way to add to your current ecommerce website and might inspire you to make other adjustments to enhance the appearance of other things here and there on your site.
