Employee Spotlight: Jim McCormick

Our company has experienced quite a bit of growth during the past year, and we are happy to be able to take the time to get to know and also to recognize the talents and contributions of our valuable employees, old and new.  This month, our Employee Spotlight is on one of our long-time employees, Tech Support Supervisor Jim McCormick. 

Originally from Medford, WI, birthplace of Tombstone Pizza, Jim joined the US Navy in 1996 as an AEGIS Fire Controlman, and was stationed in San Diego. In 1998, he met his wife, a San Diego Native.  The couple has one six year-old daughter, named Kennedy.

Jim began working at Miva Merchant in 2004, left in 2006, and returned on August 1st, 2007, after the company was purchased by its current owners.  Jim describes his typical workday at Miva Merchant as filled with “coffee, tickets, and more tickets,”and describes the best thing about working at Miva Merchant as the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of people on a daily basis. 

“We have a very eclectic group of people working for and using Miva Merchant,” says Jim. “So our work environment is always fun even though we’re constantly busy,”
